Mr. Richard Traina graduated from Loyola University School of Law. Mr. Traina was a member of the Law Review and Moot Court, and was on the Moot Court National Team. He also was a teaching assistant in the law school’s legal research and writing program and in its moot court program. Over his career, Mr. Traina has practiced complex business and commercial litigation in the United States Virgin Islands and the New Orleans metropolitan area at a number of law firms. He currently is an Assistant Attorney General in the Louisiana Department of Justice. Mr. Traina serves as counsel to the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Board and litigates high-profile land and natural resources cases on behalf of the State. He also maintains a small, select private practice.
